Soap Films

An experiment with bubbles, these are called soap films. The light shines on the soap films and creates these wonderful colors.

Pictures were taken with a macro lens. The bubble solution is on the bubble wand.

Oooo, what a face!!

I want try my hand at making soap bubbles (those are round instead of flat) but that seems to require a light box and an off the camera flash, of which I have neither. Something to strive towards! :0)

Can You See Me Now

Due to several recent motorcycle accidents a man named Rainman used Facebook to organize an awareness parade called Can You See Me Now.

There were enough motorcycles that the parade lasted over 30 minutes, non-stop.

It was just amazing to see the amount of people that participated today. I hope that this event got enough coverage to make everyone pay more attention to what they are doing.

And So it Begins...

The girls have returned after a long week at band camp. The season begins in September.

Standing at attention!

Sundial

Next to the fountain is the Sundial. Guess it works a little better when there is some sun!

Representing our Solar System.

Couldn't help stopping at the fountain too!

Just a Water Bottle

This is just a water bottle lying on the table. I switched my phone into Solarize mode and this is what I got. Of course I see a face in there. It's not absolutely amazing photography but when your tired and looking for something exciting to take a picture of...well this was it.

Garden Fairy

She stopped just long enough to pose for a few pictures then she was on her way. It is just too darn hot to be hanging out in the sun like that. Yes,even garden fairies get hot. Thanks for adding a little glimmer to my day, hope to see you again!

Night Writing

I can't say this is my first attempt at night writing, but it was an attempt with a little more effort than the last two times. The difference here is that I have the remote and I can do it myself! More room and more practice are required here to make some of the amazing pictures I have seen others do.

I didn't write in green, I just tinted it green. Get it, Melissa Green! Lol!!

Ever since my gal pal Sara said she likes to find hearts in things, I have been on the look-out for them.   I haven't had much luck, so, I just cheated a little tonight and made one for her. Happy Hearts just for you Sara!!
