Sundial

Next to the fountain is the Sundial. Guess it works a little better when there is some sun!

Representing our Solar System.

Couldn't help stopping at the fountain too!

Just a Water Bottle

This is just a water bottle lying on the table. I switched my phone into Solarize mode and this is what I got. Of course I see a face in there. It's not absolutely amazing photography but when your tired and looking for something exciting to take a picture of...well this was it.

Garden Fairy

She stopped just long enough to pose for a few pictures then she was on her way. It is just too darn hot to be hanging out in the sun like that. Yes,even garden fairies get hot. Thanks for adding a little glimmer to my day, hope to see you again!

Night Writing

I can't say this is my first attempt at night writing, but it was an attempt with a little more effort than the last two times. The difference here is that I have the remote and I can do it myself! More room and more practice are required here to make some of the amazing pictures I have seen others do.

I didn't write in green, I just tinted it green. Get it, Melissa Green! Lol!!

Ever since my gal pal Sara said she likes to find hearts in things, I have been on the look-out for them.   I haven't had much luck, so, I just cheated a little tonight and made one for her. Happy Hearts just for you Sara!!

Coconut

A gift from Laurel from her recent trip to Florida. Just a little coconut, which really makes me want to sing...you put the lime in the coconut and you stir it all around!! Is that the right lyrics? I don't know so I will sing it my way anyway!

Forest Park Nature Center

Forest Park Nature Center Peoria Heights, Il

There is this little prairie area that was just  full of flowers and tall grass. So wonderful, drawing so many butterflies. A small bench was near by so you could just sit and watch the butterflies dance.

A family of turkeys joined us on our hike. A mama, papa, and 4 babies.
