On the Road

Finally we are packed and in the car heading to Cave In Rock State Park in Southern Illinois. Rain, rain, and more rain for our drive.

Elizabeth (driving) and I are in the lead of this caravan with the 3 girls behind us and Jennifer and Larry pulling up the rear.

Finally, some 7 hours later, a few stops in there and got lost once, and we have arrived. We pick our tent spots and get to work. We are noticing how loud the cicada's are but we are busy, hope they quite down soon. Wow, look at the cicada's on the trees...look at that one, it is hatching! cool!
